2022 OVAL XP: TRANSFORMING ONE OF THE NATION'S MOST HISTORIC SITES

OUR PEOPLE ENTERTAINMENT, is proud to have brought THE 2022 OVAL XP. The space hosted THE LARGEST BEER GARDEN in Philadelphia every Wednesday-Sunday night, local, national and international acts on its SUMMER STAGE, THE MAGINATION SPACE housed kids programming and activities for kids of all ages to learn, interact and have fun, THE MARKETPLACE offered a space for Philadelphia’s incredible artisans to display and sell their products as well as ONE OF THE WORLDS LARGEST MOBILE FERRIS WHEELS spanning over 100’ in diameter, and so much more!

OVAL XP SPACE DESIGN:

•Sustainability minded

•Collected assorted décor assets from Parks and Rec lots and repurposed them, including a double decker bus

•Re-homed art and sculptures from other Philadelphia summer events such as the annual Flower Show

•Focus on bringing color and vibrancy to the Oval

•Partnered with Mural Arts on Common Ground lot mural to unify and demarcate the space as welcoming for all communities

•Created iconic Philly landmarks such as the Community Stage, Ferris Wheel and Domes

•Established active and passive areas for programming and enjoyment of the Oval

DOME PROGRAMMING

•First of their kind on the east coast.

•Offered free and ticketed wellness and entertainment programs with original and recorded content.

COMMUNITY SPECIAL EVENTS

•Nuevofest: celebrating the new sounds of Latinoamerica together en paz, unidad, y ritmo. Organized by Afrotaino.

•Hip Hop in the Park: A concert series built with the community, for the community to enjoy blackcentered entertainment in an environment that fosters support and connections with a vibrant array of creatives, musicians, DJs and business owners making waves in Philly. Organized by Black Soul Summer

•Now + Then Marketplace: A curated marketplace that happens now + then featuring 140+ local artists, artisans, makers, and resellers in Philly

•Love from Philly: Music & arts festival created to bring hope, inspiration, resources & love to Philly’s entertainment & arts community in difficult times

•Outdoor yoga classes on the mural by Yoga Habit

•Acro& acrobatic classes

•CKO Center City kickboxing classes

•Yoga and ecstatic dance on the mural by Dance Medicine Philly
